CONGRATS ON THE BIG DAY!!! (and if she's letting you go musky fishing on the big day she sounds like one heck of a good woman.) Unfortunately I am not the guy to give advice about Musky... Not by a long shot. But my wife gave me the same option (Salmon fishing though) on our wedding day. 2 extra Lar...

Hey Jackel,
Looks like a great trip! beautiful fish.
I hope you don't mind, I had a few minutes and decided to touch up that picture of your beauty sailfish. If I get more time soon I'll do more. (if you don't mind)

Hey joco, I think you're on the right track with a 10wt. rod. I used to use my salmon rod (10wt) for big pike in the early season.(pike doesn't close up north) throwing the same flies i think you're throwing for pike/musky. 6-7inches long, spun deer hair torpedo head with a long rabit hair tail. the...

You said it bruin, Sorry Cast-A-Way, but if you're chasing after the legendary fishing of the north... you're going to have to go further than 3 hours. Officially they say North Bay is the gateway to the north, but northern folk know that the north starts at Sault Ste. Marie. (8-9 hours away) Don't ...

That might explain it. The guy I borrowed it from has a son who had recently started using it. I wouldn't exactly call him responsible. I was killing myself trying to get two holes drilled... that hole was so crooked, there were little ice burrs all over. Thanks RJ, I was wondering why they were sti...

I've got to agree with Bruin, and not only because he's from the Soo. Wakami lake prov. Park is one of the greatest parks in Ontario. Most of the campsites are absolutely private, the park is small and quiet, and the fishing is AMAZING! I've been going every year since 1997 and I worked there for 3 ...

Kpin, I had no problem with MyButt's original messages about a group of individuals who were breaking the law by selling fish to restaurants. But even then, the real criminals were the restaurants for buying this meat. As mentioned by chief itchybum, that income could be crucial to these individual'...

My Butt, I was really pleased with how this topic was being handled. As mentionned before, this is a sensitive issue. I thought you were upset for the right reasons and taking the right steps to do something about it. UNTIL I read your last post. Are you really just upset with a few native guys for ...
