Re-drilling a new drain hole on an aluminum boat

Hi I've got an older 14 foot aluminum boat and the only place I can see the water coming in from is the drain hole. I've tried a few different plugs but it still manages to come in. The hole isn't perfect in the sense that it seems a tad stretched or slightly oval. Is it a big/expensive job to rebor...

Re: Lac McGregor

Hi all I did a general search about Lac McGregor and a few older posts came up. Here's the scoop. My mom owns a house on that (huge) lake and I've tried fishing there but haven't had much luck. I'd like to talk to a seasoned fisherman who is very familiar with that lake. I primarely prefer bass fis...

LF looking for BF to share quality time together

Ha! Got your attention! Sorry, but LF stood for Lonely Fisherman looking for Master Bassfisher... Here's my story. I love fishing. I especially like bass fishing because of the action. I have a 14 footer aluminum boat with a 15hp and an electric and it's parked on Lac Gauvreau near Lac Philippe. It ...

What's this worth? (fly fishing rod and reel question)

Hi I might be buying a fly fishing set but I need your expert opinion on what this is worth and if it's worth buying. The rod is an never-used PRO-TAC GF90 (approx 20 years old and graphite) and the reel is a 'JW Young & Sons says condex on it in a rim fly box' (that's how the seller worded it)....

Any regular MacGregor Lake fishermen here?

Hi all I'll be fishing a lot on MacGregor Lake (Perkins/Val-des-monts) this summer and I was wondering if anyone here would be nice enough to share the hot spots with me. It's such a large lake and I don't know where to go! I don't care what kind of fish...just as long as I catch some! Cheers :D Alex

Anybody hear of Natural Motion Lures?

I went ahead and ordered a kit from naturalmotionlures.com today and I was wondering if anyone had anything to say about them?

Cheers

Yeah, I tried Le Baron on Sunday...only to find out they're closed :x . Someone somewhere mentioned some type of anise spray. Has anyone ever hea...

The 'perfume' smell

Actually, it wasn't perfume per say. It was due to a can of Off (with a fresh scent) that went off in my tackle box!

Best way to remove smell from lures?

Hi all

I had something in my tackle box that left a strong perfume/chemical smell throughout and I was wondering what would be the best thing to get rid of the smell on all of my lures/ accessories.

Thanks

This weeks Nautilus battery on sale at Can Tire

Has anyone ever bought the Nautilus Booster Pack that they have on sale at CanTire this week? http://tinyurl.com/mfruo

Just wondering if it's overkill, given that it has a few gadgets that aren't really necessary...

I need to buy a battery for my Minn Kota 40 pounder this week!

Your thoughts?
