We were talking to Ward, the owner of Tumblehome about it a couple of weeks ago, he said that he and his brother go out and there is a few locals who do as well but the lake is not well equiped for it. There isn't any drive out access so you'd have to walk it out from the shore. Apparently the ice f...

I'd also like to thank Joco for organizing such a great time... and Bobber for the prizes and F-H for giving Badger Shark a replacement hat... maybe he'll stop whining now  It was a pleasure chatting with those I got a chance to and putting some voices to the faces and online chatter. Re: Crotch Lake

With any luck it will be in the water. As a rookie, backing around the corner of the lodge has me a little worried. You won't have to worry about backing it down past the lodge, the water is so low you can pull right around and then back in from the beach. We didn't figure that out unt...

The Legend wrote:is the fishing good there in the day time guys? or only early mornings and nights or what?
We've had good luck with Fawn Lake during the day mostly targeting bass and pike. The walleye bite really heats up in the evenings, lots of suspended fish (10-20 feet) in 50-70 feet of water.

Well he's had a musky come after that same bobber on two different bodies of water so other than maybe rigging a hook directly to the bobber it tends to work out pretty well...

Personal opininion: stay away from the Seaguar. Both Badger Shark and I have had a ton of trouble with it. It seems fine at first then it develops bad memory and kinks up causing huge birds nests. We've both stripped it off our reels which wasn't hard as there was so little of it left. I'd actually ...

Great report, It seems like access to fawn is open longer this year, In june I marked a lot of fish in Fawn but they would not bite. All the action was in the main lake. What were you trolling with ? Harness or cranks. We hit everything trolling on crankbaits. If I remember correctly both the late ...

Pre-storm fishing for walleye can be amazing, just be careful out there as no fish or good bite is worth drowning over.
Absolutely!
The wind never got up on us though and we figured worse case scenario we were 100 feet from shore and could beach the boat and wait it out.
