I've gotta agree with Moonshine, St Croix is supreme and now that they import some models even I can afford them. The St Croix Triumph (an import) made Bass Masters top 5 list under $70 last year. I bought one and when I have to replace another, it will be a St. Croix.

I bought a 12V Minn Kota Powerdrive V2 I-Pilot last month. After searching the web I found the best price at iboats.com and when I finally pulled the trigger they were offering free shipping in the US too. Quick shipping and up and running right out of the box.

Hi Joe,
I fished a Flat Rap for the first time, in your town lake. It was greenish with a yellow perch pattern. I caught my best fish (a large mouth) on it and she hammered it. You can really feel vibration on it using braided line with a jerk-pause retrieve.

No fishin' stuff but my wife and I replaced our 10 year old tv with a plasma set. Luckily so far, my half came with the remote.

Hey DropShot'r!
I sure hope that technique doesn't become popular in North America. I don't think we're ready for explode and release. Catfish probably tastes better when you wait until you get home before you cook it too.

Way too much! I'm pretty sure my wife's estimate is even higher than mine. I wouldn't trade either one of them (wife or fishing) though.

Hi Wolfe, Thanks for the nod. I enjoy your posts as well. Especially when you add those great fishing shots of your kids. Wasn't that long ago when mine were that age. Here's a couple more pictures from the trip of two friends that fished with us at least 3 different times that week at one of our fa...

Charleston and Saint Lawrence fishing vacation week

Got back home Saturday after our annual fun filled week of fishing at Charleston lake and (this year) a day on the Saint Lawrence at Cardinal. The Cardinal trip was only made possible because of the excellent information and encouragement from fellow Fish-Hawker DropShot’r. Information both via i...
