Thanks again Crystal and Mike for setting up a great event for the kids. The boys are looking forward to next year already.
Here's a pic of the big bass of the tourney. 3.66lbs LM that one of my sons caught.
Cheers,
Lloyd

Thanks again Peter. The boys had a great time. The fish loved the worms that day. I was impressed at the size of the perch that were caught.
All in all a great day.

Unbelievable.....Surely there must be a way to go after the parents for the damages. This totally sends the wrong message to that kid. At least one of them owned up to it but the slap on the wrist didn't hurt nearly as much as it should have.
Very sad indeed.

Back to CP today in search of a photo op of that bass from yesterday. No such luck but still some nice fishing for the boys and myself. Best was 15" and just over a lb. http://i204.photobucket.com/albums/bb35/fishwhenIcan/Picture008b.jpg The boys did well too, 11" inch bass for the one and...

Excellent.
Finally got up the nerve to take 4 weeks off in a row from work. Say goodbye to July!!
So far took the kids fishing a bunch of times and worked around the house.
The boys are looking forward to the august tourney already.
Cheers,
Lloyd

Just got home from CP. Thanks for the worms Gord, gold as usual. The boys and I managed 20+ panfish on them. Just at the end I tried a gulp worm Wacky style and felt the tick-tick of a bass. Wait...wait...set the hook and the fight is on. Got it to shore just as it did one last flip and man, best ba...

Maybe he can mount that picture of himself that was in the citizen on his wall.
Too bad such a large fish was not released. The thought of him digging in the trash for entrails and grabbing the head/fillets from the freezer to weigh it after the fact is kind of funny though.

I have only seen fishing on it...That and the adds for the three sided battery powered roller broom. The boys loved the pro taurpin tour with 175lb fish....My wife also rolls her eyes too when we switch.
And who could ever turn the channel when Bob Izumi is doing some Real fishing!!

That link brings back memories.
Worked on a road crew just south of Meadow lake in late 80's/early 90's and we spent a few paychecks there and in Dorintosh.
Different culture in that neck of the woods for sure but it was nice to have a guy on our crew nicknamed "one-punch".
Cheers,
Lloyd
