Seriously I use a couple of tablespoons of bleach with a full tank if it is really stinky, otherwise just a rinse seems to work fine.

Thinking of heading up next weekend (Dorval Lodge end of the lake). I have never been there. Anyone been up there recently??? Hoping for some good pike and walleye.

With the hot weather they must be getting deeper.

I only started chasing salmon two years ago on Lake Ontario and have done OK. Thats a 30 in the pic. followed by a 25 the next day Also have several 15-20lb and crazy leaping steelhead. Its also a hell of a lot closer than Campbell River! Trust me the lake is big and gets bigger as the wearther goes...

Lookin forward to the salmon season and I am wondering if anyone has been down to Port Hope?? Still a little early?

Probally too late but I just replaced my zero feedback rack and pinion with Seawind hyd steering. Now I do not think I would have a boat without it, like driving your car but way more fun.
