My deep V boat is rigged with a 4 stroke 70 HP evinrude. Its max HP should be 140 HP. Yes, it's under-powered, it can still go about 28 mph under full loaded. The motor works well. The boat is in good shape. However, I see there is color difference on one boat side, One area color is a little of yellow, another area is white. Does it mean the boat body was repaired?
The owner cleaned whole boat in order to sale it. It's hard to see any problems on body.

Anyone are owning Yr.198* fiberglass boat? Their price might be good, but I just wonder if there are always some problems in due to the age.

Anyone are familar with yr.1999 Evinrude Ficht (200 HP)? I search web. This Yr Ficht motor seems a troublemaker, therefore the price is cheap.

My old cable is rack type. Is it easy to be replaced by rotery cable? I mean if I can do it myself?

I wanaa replace my teleflex (pining/rack) steering cable.
I see one same size used but good Detmar cable.
Can I replace my old one?

Those old model (yr. 90s) merc outboards have trim limit switch? If so are they located in trim sender? I mean, where can I find it?

I wonder if Mercury trim unit (3 rams) has its own fuse or not?
Recently my trim unit couldnt work. Some one told to check fuse and relay.
Relay works fine. I just couldnt find where fuse is. Anyone can help?

I change fuel line and bulb. I have to see if it can solve all problems.
s for engine tuner, I can only find one kind -- engine tuner for johnson/Evinrude engine. I will search it online.
