Potspoon lake

Hi All,

I was thinking of going to potspoon lake tomorrow. This is a stocked lake so there has to be a public boat ramp. Does anyone know where it is?

Thank you.

piranha

Hi Steve, I have one of these props on our boat. I am quite satisfied with it. The performance seems ok for my 30hp two stroke. The only problem is shipping, it seems to double the website price. The prop has paid for itself already. i was trolling last year when i hit a huge rock the came up like a...

I have the same problem with my 1985 Johnson 2 stoke. It revs and coughs revs and coughs. i replaces the fuel line and bulb, ran a can of Johnson engine tune through it and installed new plugs this spring. It runs better but still does the same but not as bad.

long time to charge

lets say you got a 30 watt Panel at full sunlight you get 2.5 amps. If your battery is 50 Amp hours then it would take 20 hours of full sunlight to charge that battery if it was dead.

I hope this helps.. it will give you a good idea anyhow.

2 Stoke oil?

I am going to switch oil from the CTC shell in my old outboard, it gums up when trolling. I am not sure how much new oil will help (82 johnson) but i will try something different this year.

engines

This is a crazy business... thank you for the great feedback on who owns who, and who really builds the engines. I was looking at the Tracker at Bass Pro shop on Monday. The salesman did not recommend the regular Merc two stroke and suggested the Optimax or 4 stroke instead. That place is amazing......

outboard engine again

An outboard question for you? i know Yamaha owns Mercury. So is a Mercury engine really a Yamaha? Susuki is supposed to be one of the best 4 strokes and Suzuki makes the Johnson 4 stroke right? Do you know for how many years and what sizes? Honda and BRP are on there own as far as i know. Can you te...

kind of a side topic but i changed the stock 245 75 16's wrangle AP's on our F150 to BF Goodrich all terrain TA KO same tire dimensions. There was no difference in mileage and the noise level was close to the same. The winter driving was a huge difference, and they also handle just as well if not be...

Wouldn't your tackle, rods etc... count against your house insurance? Just like when your car gets broken into and they steal your laptop and digital camera. This claim would have to go against your house insurance. As far as the boat, my house insurance includes a boat up to 25HP to am maximum of $...
