It was great day for sure on Saturday, I don't think I have ever seen the weather change so fast, one minute we were in 2" of water on the ice 1/2 Hour later every thing was frozen solid...including us :evil: That picture of RJ's Seed does not do this monster justice. I have to admit ...so far ...

Thanks for the input guys. Being new to this is it normal to raise both riggers if you connect with a fish or do you only bring the one up you hooked up from? It certanly was a great day on the ice...the Weather was great, the fish were big and the company was the best :lol: :D :D :D In fact the only reason I had my heater running Saturday ....was to cook my Grilled cheese Sandwichs :roll: , I hoping to hit lake "X" at least twice more this year...

Both are good and both will do the job, I use electrics and wouldn't change them for the world, as FF said when you have a big Salmon on and you are tring to clear lines the electric are worth there weight in gold, but that being said , Markus uses manuals and has never had a problem, so it will boi...

I realy like the look of those down trees Mike....but I realy find that the cannonball and down riggers rods get tangled in all the branches, so I would probly just by pass it :lol: :roll:
