I live just west of Kanata by Constance Bay, moved here 2 years ago. If you guys are looking for another person to fish with, I am in. I know a few places to go out around here. Fish almost every night.

Last time I was at Morris Island the water was really low, could see a the stumps. Does anyone know if it is higher now?

A couple of friends and myself are looking for a place to rent a boat for a day this weekend. We are interested in fishing for bass (small or large) and pike. We are looking for a max drive timwe of an hour to two hour drive.

Like the title says I am looking for a backpack tackle box. I a tired of lugging my tackle box all over the place. I thought a backpack one would be better, plus I am hopefully going on a canoe trip, and a pack would help.

yeah I rig a minnow on the white headed jig, so far so good.

When I fish for Walleye on the ottawa (near Constance Bay) I always used a white jig head. I don't know why, but for some reason they only hit white jig heads. I have tried other colours, with not luck.

Morris Island is not bad. It is close to Fitzroy. Last year saw a number of large gar in slows across from the causeway.

I was wondering if there are any areas within 2.5-3 hours to do some float fishing. I have been in Ottawa for two years now, but still do not know the area very well. I am not looking for exact spots, just a water body.
