Re: Dalhousie Lake
There is a free launch at the other end of the lake, but the launch at Sylvania Lodge is much better. Worth the $10.

Re: Dalhousie Lake
He spit out half a crayfish when I brought him in the boat. That should make up that ounce or two. Lol!

Dalhousie Lake
Hit the lake this morning and caught two bass in first two casts. And the second one was a good one. He was eating everything. When I landed him, pieces of crayfish were falling out of his mouth.

Re: Winterizing
I was planning on doing it next week also. I got caught off guard with this cold snap. It has been out of the water for a couple of weeks. Just wasn't sure if I was done for the year. Hopefully she will be fine. Thanks for help.

Winterizing
I have a question regarding this cold snap. I have yet to winterize my boat, and I am concerned whether the lower unit will be fine. Is it long term cold that will do damage or any below zero weather? Thanks.

Re: Boat cover material
I used this on the cover of my old boat. It held up pretty good. The colour was a light green though. But I didn't care. http://www.thechandleryonline.com/product_info.php?products_id=6441 On my current boat, I am getting a seam resewed and some tie down rings resewed and a new drawstring rope on my...

Re: Saco River, North Conway, NH
We took the cog train up. It was nice and mild at the bottom, but at the top there was that pesky cloud hovering over the peak. And it was pretty chilly up there. Camping World is a RV store. We have a trailer permanently parked. So I was looking for some accessories that just cost too much up here....

Re: Saco River, North Conway, NH
My wife and I were there last weekend. What a beautiful drive there. Hopefully you got a chance to go to the top of Mt. Washington. The best part about the shopping is .....NO TAX!!! Was great for my side trip up the road to the Camping World store.

Rod and Reel
I was given a Daiwa sf708 rod and reel combo set. As I do not fly fish, I would like to pass it on to someone who maybe is just starting out, or would like to try fly fishing. It also comes with a vest and some flys.

Well Derek, I will just say one thing to you, don't get a hitch. LOL! The Altima tends to sag a little when you have a boat on the back. If you hit a big bump, you will drag. Since yours is lowered, it will bottom out a lot. I haven't fished the river yet. I parked it at the trailer and fished the l...

I tow my boat with my '02 Altima(2.5L). It is a 14 foot utility with a 20 hp. and an upgraded trailer. It is heavier than your average 14 footer, as is the steel trailer. I have no problems as long as I take it easy. I have had stuff loaded in the boat too. Then it is a little sluggish. But as I sai...

I was there a couple of years ago, and caught lots of LMB. Not big ones though. But they have to be there somewhere. If you are at Lake Doré Tent and Trailer Park, you go out towards your left, if I can recall about a km. or so and fish about 500 m. from shore. I am not 100% sure of those numbers, ...
