Why are you hiding a 3rd place fish?bl8ant wrote:I have a 5 pound 2 oz smallie in a lobster trap just west of Rideau Ferry. Been checking up on it and force feeding it weekly.
PayPal payment of $100 guarantees I won't pull it in the hour you request.

Re: hydes creek??
I know part of it runs along Hwy 41 between Griffith and Denbigh. There are several areas where you can pull off of Hwy 41 and park a vehicle. Not sure where else one could access the creek from. To the best of my knowledge, there's quite a bit of private land mixed in with Crown land in that area.

Great post.
It's obvious your daughter got her Mother's looks and the world is grateful for that.

I get to take credit for the hookset but it required some quality work with the net to get it into the boat.StarTzar wrote:Who caught the 4.44 smallie ? You or your partner?

Re: Muskrat Turnie
For the first time in a long time, Muskrat didn't hate us on tournament day. We go two envelopes with a 4th place finish and #1 big fish with a 4.44 smallie.
It doesn't happen to us often but It's kind of fun when you're tossing back 3 lbers because they're not big enough.....

Re: Muskrat Turnie
Yes but it is limited to 50 teams. Not sure how many are registered but if you are serious about going, I'll make some phone calls to see how many are signed up. EDIT : I had the phone number on my desk so I made the call anyways. There are 28 teams signed up so you can sign up tomorrow morning but ...

My wife and I are fishing it. Not sure why because Muskrat hates us but we're persistent and we'll be out there with our rainsuits on.

If you want to turn a good spot into a lousy spot, just tell someone. It's not much more complicated than that.

Re: Wavw worms
Went fishing this week with a pretty experienced bass hunter, He is a big fan of wave worms, but when we fished he never used one. Said the Ottawa was to murkey for them, ( lapasse/Waltham). any truth to this? or did he just not want to show me the colours he uses? I'll let you draw your own conclu...

Wow.
That's a beauty king. Well worth the work it took to land it.

I have two packs (minus one or two) that have been sitting in my senko box for few years and they will never be my first choice. If you want them, PM me your address and I'll pop them in the mail to you.

Possible Open Seat For White Lake Tomorrow (Wed July 30)
There is a 50/50 chance that I will have an open seat tomorrow for a day on White Lake for someone who is not fishing the EOBO/Shootout Series on Sunday. Won't know for sure until later this evening. Plan is to be on the water for 8:00AM and off the water around 5:00PM but there is a bit of flexibil...
