Now something my grandpa told me once and it does work well is try using crickets for panfish...they work very well but i do not know why??? You can pick up a bunch of them very cheap at pet stores that have reptiles..Give them a try and you will be suprised.

Hand Augers run from $50-$100 dollars and I reccomend an 8" but most on this site say 6" for less work. I say 8" cause you don't want any excusses why one got away. Where are you planning on fishing and what are you fishing for.

Fished Otter for 5 hours and did not catch one trout...but buddy has caught some before...As for Green lake if it is the one near Murphy's Point then yes as for near Almonte that is my neck of the woods and never heard of it...I can not remeber if it was otter or not but during the softwater months ...
