Yeah what a year...It sounds like a lot of you guys are from my area Almonte Carleton Place etc. What a great land we live in. I am trying to upload some of my pictures from this year but having troubles...How do you do this...I am going to try and have my pic with a big laker in it for you's to see...

Yes Silver Lake is open all year so is a lake called grindstone(I think)

Just a question about the lake in the pictures...Was that Clayton Lake cause I fish it every year and there is a guy in an ultralight like that one...Crazy fool. Nice pictures and maybe I can share some pics this year as my buddy and I "Invested" in a digi cam.

I have been ice fishing for years and this is my advice( if you want to listen to it)... I ce needs to be at least 10" in my opinion to walk on it safely but it has to be "clean"..no top water or crusty ice. Next I would reccomend at least an 8" hole cause you do not want any exc...

There is a lake near Ompah that is open all year for lakers as I have a cottage on Mosque lake which happens to be stocked with lakers...I would have to say if the water temp is around 54oC which is the temp they prefer they can be anywhere on the lake at any depth...Right now they are out of season...

I would have to agree but disagree on hole size. The first question is what are you fishing for...I had a 6" auger but recently purchased a 8"...I found that the 8" allows for more control over the fish and it's size. I also found that it is no difference cutting holes with either siz...

Now this lake is not close to Windsor but for Pike it is awsome...Try fishing Mississippi Lake near Innisville...I caught about 30 there this year alone. Now the biggest was 4lbs but hey better than a kick in the...

Well my 5lber this year was quite similar..my first 5er ever. I think I would give you it. Just for fun lets say 5.5lbs.
