Re: Oh Joy Oh Joy

There's a lot of talk about holding fish vertically, grabbing them by the lower lip, etc. I think this pic was the real take-away point from the article. Although I'm sure most people here already know this, and don't hold bass this way. Again though, not really based on any scientific research, bu...

Must have

Boat Launch
Navigable water
clean beach
Kid/family friendly
washrooms and showers

Again Cardinal has everything but the water. Being only 5 minutes from the Larry though makes it a viable option. Check out the website http://koa.com/campgrounds/cardinal/

Re: Oh Joy Oh Joy

If I have one i would like to weigh I use a reusable grocery bag. I don,t know if it is a good as the mesh one Maverick is talking about but at least the fish is not hung vertically with a metal hook stuck in it somewhere. Just trying to give an option that everyone may have at their disposal. Sorr...

Re: Oh joy Oh joy Part II

Cardinal KOA is a great spot James and it is designed for kids to have fun. No water access but you are only 5 minutes from the Larry there. Could be ab option. We camp there all the time and the boys love it.

Re: What is your preference?

Lake Dore is a good choice. I have never left there skunked. You just need to find the channels out there and you will get them. Also not bad for some decent bass too!!
