WALLEYE TROLLING RODS

i agree with eye tracker i have 8 shimano compree trolling rods with diawa sg 17 lca and sg 27lca the 7ft 10inch rod is perfect with a diawa sg17 lca.

i agree with spence the minn kota maxium pro is a good unit if you are looking for qiuck response for verticle jig fishing in current i havn't found a better unit.

so sheldon now that you have had a chance to run your your new hull a few time's what do you think. from your last few post's we know it can catch fish . have you had a chance to run it in a good chop yet , chances are you probabaly did your home work before you purshased it and give one a good test...

PRO KICKER

i also run the 9.9 prokicker hooked in to my verado no fumes idles down to .6 mph it run like a watch. i have had it for 2 seasons i have at least 400 hour of trolling on it and havn't had a minutes worth of problems with it.

nice rig sheldon we arn't surprised it can catch fish .i will be back up between xmas and new years hope to see you out on the water. if not may be we can get together in the spring on the detriot river like we discussed. have a good holiday since santa has allready come early for you. MALLARD1

i go to the states because i live only twenty minutes from windsor detroit border. and trying to get quality tackel in windsor and surounding area down here is a joke. and if you get lucky and find what your loking for the price is outrages. i went over today and picked up two 7'3 trolling compree's...

sheldon steve and erie eyes thankyou for the info regaurding shamano talora rods. your info couldn't come at a better time i am heading over to the states tomorrow to look for rods . i plan on buying 6 of them so i don't want to be unhappy with what i buy .your opinions are highly respected on this ...

just wondering if anyone is using the shimano talora downrigger planner board rods. im thinking of buying the 7 foot one piece medium action to stricktly use with offshore in line boardsto run cranks and bottom bouncers.any feed back would be appreciated before i buy 6 of them . mallard1
