I am convinced it was this fish-hawk cap that lead Bobby Jordan and I to a 5th place finish on Big Rideau's shootout yesterday. Well the hat and Bobby's mad skillz !
Congrats Zeke making the classic !

Any of my fellow Fish-Hawkers have a site at yonder hill or pinewood? I just bought a 31 footer and had it delivered couple weeks ago to pinewood . Figured if so might give me a few more fishing options since I have been leaving the boat up there frequently !

Drove by Stones Lake the other day while doing a trout tour in Calabogie. It got me wondering what kind of species are in there and what the average depth is. Anybody ever fished there?

Ive just spent the last hour trying to figure out this Quebec mnrf website and can not find the info that I am looking for. All that I know of the regs is based on the fines issued by the MNRF to some anglers launching out of Petrie Island. One of those guys did not speak a word of French so I helpe...

With the walleye and pike opener next Friday ,thought it would be a good idea to remind people to be mindful of what side of the Ontario / Quebec border they are on while using/ transporting live minnows . Had a few customers and friends who strayed pass that line and got fined based on the amount o...

One of my friends who works at the museum is wanting me to catch him a bowfin within city limits. I have seen them in various places but never here . Anybody ever catch one on the Ottawa or Rideau? Any tips will be appreciated .

This season we have bought tickets to to big kiwanis walleye world derby. I had a few questions that some of you may be able to answer. Do I need to check in before I start fishing? As well as do I need to launch at a weigh station or is any launch ok? I am looking for a decent launch in the Hay Bay...
