You have a greater chance at seeing topless women, women in bikini's and drunken ego-boasting 20-yr-old males than catching much on that lake... on a weekend that is.

Also, that lake was afflicted with the blue-green algea problem a few years ago. Not sure if it has recovered.

I'm a quebec resident ............ and thats one rule I think should be removed ...... drinking in a boat ishhhhhhhhhhhh ! On this thought, and what Cprince has mentioned... Having a beer at th...

are you serious gg? Also I was told when I bought mine that my wife could fish under my license as long as we only keep a one license limit. Not sure if I was told correct or not but cool if you fish with your wife. Yeppers. Drink beer all you want, just don't go over the limit. If you're the passe...

One particular difference that I enjoy is that you are allowed to consume alcohol in your boat, on the QC side. The driver of the boat must not have open liquor while the motor is running, and must never be over the legal limit. Once you're anchored for walleye, it's "pop-a-top"!

I missed the "outing" of Lake X, but I've read this entire thread. For what it's worth, here's MY take: -if you recall, I posted a month ago, about "requesting" spots within your first 15-20 posts (I was found guilty of doing that as a newb, but have since learned better). Mods ,...

I'm sure the guys are speaking of Beauchamp with a certain amout of sarcasm... If not, I apologize if I offend. Beauchamps is about the size of a football field, no gas motors, no launch. It is stocked with trout every year, though most suspect that they die off due to the summer's heat. It's not a ...

Go right into town, and look to your right. Don't forget to pay the launch fee!

For a FREE launch, in Low, turn right to go to the dam. Follow the signs. If you launch here and plan to hit Ste-Marie, you'd better bring a big motor and lotsa gas.

Craig Oddly enough, a Non-Resident cannot "hunt" frogs in Quebec. It's a species that is only open to residents. Some rules I'm curious about, that one I just shake my head... I'd hunt frogs if I were allowed. I know a great little lake near Chenier that is loaded with them (makes for fat ...

Re: Lac Bernard

I know I will have to get up off my duff and drive up the road to find out... deep into the Ontarioids stronghold in Quebexico... I was looking at this spot too.. the only spot on the lake that I see has the road right up against the shore line... parking would be fun to find... and obviously would...

This just going to be another store like LeBaron that gets the crap kicked out of it on Fish-Hawk? Rants about bad selection, useless sales folk, warranty/returns issues... I've never been to a Sailbaron so I'm actually just curious... Probably not going to be like LeBarons. I've been to the one in...
