Yes, I am aware they are different. I am looking for a good suggestion on what to match the reel up for when bass fishing and questioning if the 6ft M/H that I have sitting without a reel would be too small, if I should be looking for a longer rod and what the benefits would be.

there is a public launch at the end of white lake road. You will get the gereral store, take a right, launch is right there on your left, or at least it used to be. Or you can go past the general store, keep going straight toward the water, you will end up at T BELL resort, they have a great launch ...

I've caught a couple this year, nothing over 10lbs, was getting a little discouraged until this beaut came out to play. Not too bad !

Hey - Not sure where you are writting from, but you can always try the upper part of the Long Island Locks on River Rd, Manotick Mill, Blacks Rapids on HWY 16 near Fallowfield, Jock River Landing, HWY 16
