Thanks for the info. Looks like we won't be loading up on crawdads... You're right about live bait being for those who don't know how to fish -- that would include kids that are trying to learn... I would bet the majority of anglers on this site and elsewhere got their start fishing worms for sunnie...

Thanks for the reply. Does this mean you have to be an Ontario RESIDENT to trap crawdads? We're visiting from the U.S. and will of course have valid fishing licenses. Great site! Long time reader first time poster. I will be at my in-laws cottage on Newboro lake next week.
