Hi Joco...good thread subject. Lurkers are fine, but regular fish-hawkers who give up alot of "honey holes" online should reconsider. It seems some fishermen just check out this site to discover new hot spots, while contributing nothing themselves. Actually, there's nothing wrong with this...

Great job Kpin! Now you can join the club of addicted-demented musky wackos. Also a great job to Matt in helping Kpin land his first; it must be a good feeling and a nice birthday present in itself for having provided such a thrill. Maybe you found a part time career..... just remember not to take o...

Nice job to the "Wolfepack!" I never saw too many huge sunfish @ Wolfe Lake before; I pray it's not because the larger predators are diminished. I hope to squeeze in a day or two of fishing for smallmouth on Wolfe this year. I'm glad you and the family had such a nice time, and good luck w...

Overall, last season was slow because of the intense heat. Pickerel (walleye) are fished pretty heavily on Nosbonsing, so fishing can be spotty. Pike fishing is decent when the water isn't too hot, and bass action can be OK at times too. Musky fishing was slow during the summer heat last season, but...

The water is still pretty cool, regardless of the recent hot weather. It was FREEZING just last week. Try shoal edges and island drop-offs. The muskies will be shallower in the evening. Don't be afraid to CAST at this time. I love Nosbonsing. Good luck.

Good info on this thread (although sickening). If the changing weather pattern is playing a role in the weakening of some muskies' immune system in the St. Lawrence, it may be because the fish in this particular body of water are not genetically equipt to deal with it. The muskies down South in Kent...

Good luck Matt, I hope you like Birchcliff. If you are heading out on the lake from the docking area, try going straight across to the opposite shore, then head left for a mile or two....once you go over some really deep water (lake trout area), you will enter a huge shallow section of the lake know...

Hi Muskymatt. It does seem long, especially for musky and bass fishermen. I need to get into some of the other "early species," like trout.

Hi Trophymuskie. The reason I mentioned it was because of a big fish that died on me once; seemingly for no reason. It was a reasonably quick release and it wasn't hooked too bad (applied boatside "CPR" too), and the fish was not banged up at all....it just swam slowly away but had trouble...

Great job Trophymuskie. Beautiful fish. I was just talking about Green River Lake yesterday....how it has just as good a "musky reputation" as Cave Run in Kentucky. Never fished it, but would love to someday. I go down South every year in February (just to get away; this year it was Tennes...

Thanks for the info guys. Maybe now I'll be a little less paranoid...My main concerns were direct posted photos and copyrighted video clip links.

Thanks McQ. How about directly posting a private photo (no link) onto a board, or providing a copyrighted video clip link? I noticed some video clips that alter url addressess when you attempt to paste them after copying. I can easily get around this difficulty, but why bother if it breaks any laws?...

Posting Any Link a "No No??"

Having been involved in a few lawsuits, I'm paranoid about posting some links on message boards. These links include photos and video clips. Do we have the right copy and paste any link we choose onto a public message board, or could we get in trouble for doing so?? Does it have to be officially des...

Thanks Kevin. I fished the Moon before, but at the wrong time of year. Parry Sound is not well known for muskies, but I'm sure there are some big ones there. I can relate to dangerous, sudden storms kicking up on big water. Sometimes I wait to the last second before heading in; why is it that trophy...

Jim, I KNOW that I don't detect any sarcasm in your statement: "If you have a few extra bucks and you were to rent a satellite and make higher resolution pictures available, I bet Google would use them."......... I'm sure your advise was meant to be helpful  . Seriously, I have no id...
