Most, if not all of the time that you see it plowed it has been done by a private plow operator or just a guy tryin to get in to fish with a plow on his truck,, we used to do it every time we went to the lake ourselves, you may go one day and its snowed in and go the next and its all plowed out .......

Try finding some structure anywhere between 5-10 fow ( blowdowns, beaverhouse etc) an inflow of water such as a feeder creek is also a good set up location.Small minnows are a good way to start but I've had success on spoons, roe sacs and things of the insect variety..Aggresive specks will hit just ...

Had a similar experience once while tryin to manhandle a 7lb laker into the boat as I had forgot my net, All that splashin around landed one of those trebles under the tendon in my wrist, hook still in fish, hook still in me and fish is not happy being in the boat (ouch)... I had to use wire cutters...
