Nice pics RJ....I love fishing for gar but I really find them tough to catch....gotta practice my casts more.

I don‘t use them often but when I do I typically use them around rock or docks...let it sink a little and it will usually produce a few.

I have been fishing the Ottawa and the pike bite has been ok but they have been small...hoping to land some bigger ones soon.

I have taught both my kids how to fish by shore fishing at petrie. Lots of places to move to and lots of panfish for the kids to catch.
