Re: What is this lure?
Most lures have already proved that they work prior to leaving the store, when someone takes it through the checkout.

Re: In-Line reels and ice fishing line
Just saw this now - yes - the in-line reels can be used for larger fish. The one I use is a cheapo Eagle Claw, $50 or so, but it works good. This is I think the 3rd or 4th season, Hasn't let me down yet, two 17lb lakers and a whole lot of 4-10lb fish. Primarily used for Lake Trout, walleye and a few...

Re: millhaven creek browns
Millhaven brown trout fishing is quite a bit dated. Athol Bay (Prince Edward County) is a better option - get out early in the spring and fish 3-6 FOW. Can still pick up a few browns around Parrot Bay as well.

Re: Finally, a Cormorant season.
Apparently, people do use cormorant decoys, in places where they have been legal to shoot. A few good Youtube vids of that.
Not planning on tree shooting, but in flight, we don't shoot geese on the ground either. We will be cleaning up a few waterbodies of this vermin.

Re: Finally, a Cormorant season.
RJ The new law specifically deals with how to dispose of carcasses. Also, they don't float, they sink... they have solid bones and no oils on their feathers. As for wasting shells - I don't follow your logic, not even a bit. When I shoot skeet am I wasting shells? Goose hunting, I will generally fil...

Re: Clyde River
The land between Wolf Grove Rd and the Clyde River is actually not private... See property boundary map below. The no parking sign is likely municipal, and valid. You can access the Clyde River there, but park somewhere else. https://i.imgur.com/hJQVZnw.jpg Crown land use Policy Atlas shows all tha...
