wouldn't it be nice if the sleds could just stay on the trails that cross the lake. I don't like hitting their ruts and bumps while I making my way down the lake to fish.

just let the pilot light run for a while. maybe 5 minutes and then try turning it up. If you think moisture or water got in via the pilot light, blow the air through the system with compressed air from the tank side with the knob turned to high ( so the air comes through)

I don't own one yet, but is there a problem with just pulling it out of the hole while reeling a fish up through the hole to prevent a lost fish?

I will be working on it at nights and fishing the days. I am lucky to have aquired a lot of tools and a decent shop to store all my toys. T...

I am slowly working on fabricating a new mounting system for mine. I currently it just rests it in the gun grips mounted to the front rack. But the plan is to fabricate something that will slide forward away from the front rack, then rotate to a vertical position. The kind of work on the same princi...

Bruin,

If you post on here telling me that you just got a set of barely used chains for 10 bucks, I am going to come up there and drink all your beer!

You have been getting way too many good deals this year.

How well do the mudlites perform with fluff snow on top of ice on a lake? That is why I am asking about the chains. Maybe in the summer I will switch up to some mudlites to get my kayak into the back country but figures other than dropping big cash on tracks, chains would be the next best thing for ...

Bruin, Go to your local Sault Ste Marie TSC store, the carry a full line of Mr.Heater products. My recomendation would be the Portable buddy with a 12' hose adapter. That way you can use your refillable tank. you should get about 4 hours of burn time on the low setting per pound of propane. Cut this...

Did anyone have a Clam Fish Trap stolen recently? That thing had to be red hot to sell at that price. Or did you buy if off someones wife.

Did you know the guy who you bought it from?
