Jiffy power auger oil ratio

So on my last trip to Bass Pro Shops, I picked up some handy little "Jiffy Premium 2-Cycle Smokeless Syntehetic Blend Engine Oil with Fuel Stabilizer" and the sticker says mix entire contents with 1 Gallon / 4 liters of fresh gas. There is 94.6 ml of oil in the container. This equates to a...

Just to throw some gas on the fire. What if you make a trip to Madoc and get yourself a prospector's license, and go prospecting, if no one else has staked a claim on a privately owned property, you are within your rights to be there and legally the owner of the surface rights has to grant you unres...

you will find the answer a couple of kilometers in off the highway. It sounds like you are going to need back country shoes.

Last year I picked a pair of Atlas A12's. Depending on what you are doing with them, the A12's might be overkill. But for me they are awesome, they get me where the Kawasaki Mule with a track kit and winches can't take me. I do a lot of work in the back country......... The suspension system works g...

I bought one of these last year at crappy tire, and pleased with the performance. Easy up and down, mine did not come with any ice pegs, but I use my (2) down rigger balls as weights to keep it from blowing around. Add a mr.heater portable buddy and you are all set. http://www.canadiantire.ca/browse...

Keeping The Hole Open

How does everyone keep their ice holes open and ice free all day?

Looking forward to some original ideas, coffee cans with charcol and copper line? Battery operated aerators etc.

Pic's of your inventions would be neat to see too.......

Can somone drive out to mink lake (Eganville) and see how thick the ice is, maybe even mark out a spot for me to put my shack at this year? Actually, if you could even take my shack out and drill the first hole it would be nice.

Thanks in advance

What application are you planning to use this for? I can't see it taking a small portable hut from -20 or -25 C to any significantly warmer temp. At 3800 BTU it will be useful as a hand warmer, but that is about it. Spend a few more bucks and get the Mr. Heater portable buddy. I got one last year an...

under water camera

Anyone have experience with under water cameras? My wonderful wife has asked me to pick one out as a christmas gift for me. 1. What model is best at night or low or no light levels? 2. What model has the longest viewing range distance(don't need to be told it depends on water clarity, I know that mu...
