I live in Pickering ,and fish Frenchmans Bay weekly, and Simcoe and Scugog once every couple of weeks for the ice season.

Just wondered if you fish the golf course or is that to far up at this time of year? I was on Bowmanville creek yesterday (wed.) saw a couple cought but not by me.

Anybody on this site fish as far west as Duffins Creek in Ajax?

I have an Aqua-view Quad 360 with 4 cameras . I love it , on Simcoe you can see the bite that you cannot detect on the rod. Every one in the hut gets their own view of their own spredder. It is really only good for ice fishing as it is hard to see anything if there is particles floating in the water...

What about the other fish that are going to come up through the hole, Ling, Catfish, Carp. are all open as well, not just panfish.

At last after 30 years I can ice-fish right outside the cottage , I will not have to go to Simcoe or Scugog to get my fix.
