That's a great looking set up, and something I will definitely consider, however, $$$ is a concern. That doesn't look cheap!

Best placement for rod holders?

I picked up a couple of Scotty rod holders and I was hoping for recomendations on the best placement and method of installation. I have a Princecraft Pro 164SS, similar to the Fish-Hawk "Ride". I'm hesitant to drill holes through the top of the gunwhales. There's a shelf below the gunwhale...

I did, Caught a 25+pounder on 20lb power pro. Bigger is definitely better for gear, tho. The carp can get very big, and take very impressive runs. I'm new to F-H, and computers, apparently. If someone can tell me how to post a pic, I'll post it.[/img][/code]

Might be a little more than an hour, but the bird sanctuary, past Upper Canada Village is as good as I've seen. The British tourists may be a little upset with me for putting this out there.

I mistakenly stored white flukes in contact with purple yum dingers. The white flukes with red discoloration turned out to be deadly for pike. What's that old saying? "Boneheaded mistakes are the mother of invention?..." Don't be afraid to experiment by mixing colours!
