Lol good one Craig. Hmm... white spinner bait. I've seen that before hehe
Real bad tail on that one. You figure that was from the spawn maybe or something else?
Btw nice fish. Cheers

Re: Lac Blue Sea
Last time I was there was many years back at a friend's cottage. There were a couple of old guys jerking wire for Greys and we found a 10 lb pike floating dead on the shore. Not sure what fish populations are like anymore.

Re: Nuissance bear
Correction Jimmy. You can shoot them but you can't get caught baiting them lol. Seriously though, bear outfitters bait all summer long, you're just not allowed to shoot them over bait out of season. In this case if you can determine with trail cams which way they come in you could set up a bait and ...

Nice fish Yan. Try and you will succeed. Those Eirie Dearies still work great after all those years eh. Funny how we kind of forget sometimes about the old standbys with the onslaught of new lures every year. Cheers

Bunk had posted some great pics and stories about Attawapiskat in the past but they may be gone now.
Here's a link to another great post of that area. Definitely worth checking out. http://ontariofishingcommunity.com/foru ... opic=70067

Re: What is this double hook called and where do I buy it
I wouldn't bother scarkner. We used to use them trolling for Greys behind the gang troll back in the day for minnows that wanted to spin. They sure weren't called liver hooks back then. They came in a few sizes. Then I lost a big one at two colors to the boat when one of the hooks straightened out. T...

Re: Seeking help via Private Message
No pm required. While not "great" Walleye fishing, for a small tinny you could try Clayton/Taylor lake. Or maybe White Lake, but it does blow up more on windy days. Then there's always the Miss.
Good luck with it. Cheers

Re: Best fishing lodge/lake/river for walleye in ON/QC?
Boy Jason, you don't want too much do you lol. Even the most prolific waters can turn off for any number of reasons. Basically, I would figure that the further north you go, the better chance you have of getting into real good fishing. Even better, go to a fly-in camp. So it depends on how far you w...

Re: Been to Lac Duval?
I know some guys that go most years but I haven't heard about this year yet. I'll check it out I do know that the road isn't good.I don't think they're doing any more logging. One buddy went up by Lac Bryson two weeks ago and said it was a 10 beer drive to get there, only to find out his bud with th...

Re: Mississippi Lake Musky rumor
Not far fetched at all Daner. You nailed it would be my guess. I just spent the last 7 months on the shore of the Miss and talked to a local who grew up there. He has caught those blue/silver Pike himself so they are in that lake.
