Good luck tomorrow guys . I just got off the phone with a good bud who has a cottage on bay Davis for a long time . He tells me that there is 12''on the main lake and figures Baie Mckenzie to have 16+ so there shouldn't be a problem driving as snow depths aren't too bad . He has ice fished for white...

I have a Martin 4010w 10500 btu camping heater that is at least 25 years old and still runs great . It has thermostat control which is nice . You can't cook on it but can warm up things in foil on top of the case . I see that they still sell the exact same one after all these years at Sail but they ...

Troll I'm sure you'll be very happy with your new heater . I just checked at Cabelas and the over 200 reviews were very good . There's no mention of filters or problems . Nice looking rig . I'm sure you're hoping to use it lots cause that means you'll be fishing !! Cheers

Any of those heaters recommend a filter ? If so, I would tend to stay from those ones . Too touchy imo . cheers

I don't recall propane heaters in the past needing a filter . My 30 year old Martin camping heater still works great . I tried it yesterday for the first time in many years . It's whole life has been on a 10lb bulk tank for ice fishing plus 12 days non stop off 20 lb tanks after the ice storm .I cal...

FowlDawg its too early yet but if you go along the shoreline from Innes pt. at Shirleys Bay towards the lagoon in shallow water with large dead bait on quick strike rigs ......... :))

ps There must be areas East of town in spawning areas that would work as well

I beg to differ . Salted minnows of the right type can be very handy when salted and used in the summer for Greys in Quebec in the summer . Use enough salt so that they never really freeze hard and they stay firm behind a troll. Back when a bunch of us used to go to Kipawa every summer I used to get...
