Crappie fishing in Manotick and Orleans area
May I ask if anyone knows some good spots to fish crappie? Is it too early and being this time of year I guess it would be best to fish from shoreline?

Pending on who you talk to...

looking for a good Transom
I have a Crestliner Kodiak 16 footer with a 50 HP Mercury that has a clip that you put your motor on in transit. I wrote to Mercury, they recommended that I get Swivel-eze made by Attwood and not use that lever that comes with the motor. Does anyone know where I can get this locally? Or are there co...

Looking for Cover for Mercury 50hp motor
the last cover that I got for about $10 at Princess Auto was fantastic, but after 4 years of use the sun literally destroyed it. Princess Auto no longer has that size in stock, does anyone know where I can get one that had a nice buckle on it for a decent price in Ottawa?

Re: Battery??
I needed to replace both my starter battery as well as my DC battery for trolling this year. After running around looking at all the various batteries, I decided to give Costco a try, they are selling a DC27 Starter/DC battery with 845 MCA for $99.99, so I decided to purchase 2 and see what happens,...

Re: trolling motor power advice
I had to get new batteries for both my starter motor and trolling motor this year, I decided to try the Costco's brand KIRKLAND, they are both Starter/Deep Cycle and hassle free warranty, prices are about the same as Walmart's brand. So lets see what happens.

Live Well - What is the proper way to clean it
Just purchased a boat and used the live well this weekend, so I was wondering what the proper way of cleaning it would be, use chemicals or vinegar it or just a rinse?
Please advise
