Easy question for locals
i have been messing with google maps and the topo maps for my gps, and there are some really small water bodies that actually have lake names, there are larger bodies that are not named, I presume that the un named ones are just big shallow ponds or wetlands, why are some named, for example Hughes l...

No scales, no tape measure, picture does no justice to actual fish, I think this was pretty close to 6 pounds. Biggest bass of the week.

Well, I will be in Kingston in about 24 hours from now and on the lake about 26 hours from now, I had my sister pick up some yum dingers, some scum frogs and a couple fat raps, as per your suggestions here. Seems it's just for bragging rights (the picture). I sure hope he doesn't consistently do this, but he mentions reaching his limit quickly and then switching species, so.... :? Thanks for all the tips, I guess my first question should of been, what if anything is different when fishing bass this late in the season compared to fishing in the summer months?
