Yup, that's a big'un. Would love to see the province allow for a catch and release fishery for sturgeon. I've hooked a few smaller ones in the Ottawa and have no doubt the river holds some large fish which would be a lot of fun to target.

Always barefoot when in the boat, temperature permitting. I find I have a better feel for the trolling motor control barefoot. A little spf 30 takes care of the sunburn. I'm also a clumsy sob, so I trip myself up a lot less when barefoot.

Don't mean to sound insulting, but are you pressing the + button several times on the remote after turning the motor on?
