Early In this post it was mentioned about getting together to clear a new road to clear the ramp just past the boulders. Any thoughts on this for a Saturday morning go at it. It would be if we had a couple snowblowers and a couple of guys knocking down the snow banks. I have a snowblower and would ...

Lots of time yet boys, and I wouldn't panic about the removal date. This is the number 1 reason I got rid of my permanent shack, though I do miss it. RJ Got that right Rob. Still 3 weeks to go and if conditions are real bad I think the ministry would be understanding. If I had a shack out there and...

Good work Big Bass, I can say honestly i've caught( & released) about a dozen from the Ottawa with few over 13" rest 10" saucers. however i have never put much effort into patterning them in that big of a water body and caught most by random so it seems.
Nice fish & tight lines!

Maybe a shack moving party is in order.. Maybe start with a road building party first  For the guys with smaller shacks on skis etc its going to be alot easier for sure once you get a smooth run to shore so that it wont tip and pull with sleds.. Myn and a couple others have trailers so i...

Well there is a few post conditions in the other shirleys thread. But that deadline is for sure closing in and this weather is brutal. Yes its pretty bad but someone has been shoving through occasionally. I would worry more about the extra weight of warm snow/ melt, unless it gets real solid after b...

Was out at Shirley's Bay yesterday afternoon. Someone was plowing a road out part. I am not sure how far or where he was plowing but while I was there he went straight out launch and then turned and was going parallel to shore. Be careful if you are heading out on a snowmobile and crossing over the...

Was unable to get out for a trout fish this winter until this weekend. Went out on Friday for 4hrs and managed to tough out the cold weather and it paid off. We got three Splake with one being a nice fish. We did miss a few of the soft bites with the holes freezing over so fast. http://instagram.co...
