was in calabougie a cpl days ago ice is great and the snow is light and easy to walk thru not very deep at all, also some nice snow pack from sleds if you want to venture out further on the lake

no it doesn't you simply just have to defrost them and the crystals will turn back to liquid form

Question regarding out of season catch

Always wondered although its never happened. You land an out of season fish that dies while trying to release it. What would you do? and how does the MNR look at such a thing should they come along and you have it on the ice.

Forget Cornwall Calabogie is the same distance and much much cleaner. there are trout in the main lake, also waben but it would be to far to walk this time of year from main road, also Green lake AWSOME for bass and trout I hear Scully is OK but right across the road from Scully is Shinner lake(very...

Old school is the only way we go, the wife and I fish canoe and shoreline all summer long on alot of back lakes in the calabogie area and the fishing is awsome, we're lucky if we see 2 or 3 other people all day, they are known lakes just not fished all that often
