Cull Bag

Hello Wolfe,

The cull bag that CN recomends is the way to go. The fish slips in easily and no putting extra holes in the fish. The fish does not fall off the scale and get banged around on the boat floor either.

Good fishing,

Tim

Hey Scott, Good on ya taking out the young lad. Bring food, toys etc and the trips last a bit longer. A real minnow to play with works great too. Clay Bank launch is one of the worst thought out ideas for a launch ever. No dock, winds always blow in that way, even with high water it is a long way in...

AVOID DAMS Years ago we used to tie up beside a dam to fish for walleye. Two guys could catch 100 plus fish (mostly smaller ones but you could catch nicer ones and an occassional 5-8 lber) in three or four hours. Every once in a while a muskie or sturgeon was hooked too. Of course youth equals bulle...

Minnows

Hello Fish'n Buddy,

Try calling Manotick Bait. On Jan 28 they posted they had dace. Not sure of colour, but a quick call can answer your question.

Have a good one,

Tim

Hi David, Sounds like a great day of fishing, good for you. When I was down on Sunday we brought our jigging rods but never did get to Thompsons. I remember our first trip down years and years ago and we jigged the point first thing. We still laugh today because the first eye caught was by me and it...

Finally got down to BOQ (picture added)

I was not able to get down earlier and now have the boat put away. But... I recieved a call on Saturday that there was an open seat for Sunday. Left the Prior at 2:15. Drove down in a heavy fog until we reached the 401. Launched into a pretty thick fog and followed another boat out to the ferry area...

Hello Devy, I do not know your price range on a boat but you may want to contact Bobber, he is trying to sell his boat. Princecraft, looks good. If nothing else he can tell you about towing a boat that size. The ad for the boat can be seen in the classified section here. I bought a 18' Lund with a 1...

Thanks to Scott and Jim for the replies. I may end up down there this Sunday if the weatherman is correct about the weather being semi-decent that day. Great question on speed Pepe as I meant to ask about that. If I go down I will let you all know how it went. Shopping time, white you say eh. Thanks...

Thanks to Eye Tracker for the reply and to TroutMuskieHunter for the PM. One of the good things about this board is the wealth of fishing knowledge and the willingness of people to help a fellow angler out. It appears I have bought the tail dancers in the correct size and colours. A shopping trip is...

Bay of Quinte Information Request

Good day all, Just finished reading the BOQ report and did not want to hijack the thread so I will ask a few questions here. I used to fish the bay years ago in the late fall but my fishing partner stopped fishing. Now that I have the bigger boat I plan on one or two trips down in the next couple of...

Bassin for Bucks

Just wanted to thank BaitCasters for putting on the Bassin for Bucks. Congrats to all that cashed a cheque. The weather was a tad cool but warmed up nicely. Fishing was a bit tough but thats what makes it interesting. The BBQ was very tasty and everyone seemed pleased with their day (winners or not)...
