Crown Land

Does anybody have any suggestions for a water way (Arnprior and the Valley) boat accesible that you are able to camp on for a night while you are out fishing. Is there any islands on the O that don't have private property signs stamped all over them, White Lake? ect ect.
Appreciate any info.

Yeah I guess calling a guy Sally twice is on topic. Ran into the same issue with "bent" bait, but went ahead and threw it into some weeds, I picked up a nice SMB first cast, so he didn't mind, but they eventually work themselves out in my experience. I don't consider this a hijack as we're...

You asked, he answered. Enough said, I am not sure why you have to take issue with his answer and get combative and childish about it. Re-read the three pages of replies about the topic at hand (other than the ones you hijacked) pretty much everybody is very happy (myself included) with the performa...

Muskie

As there was no Muskie where I lived previously, I am very interested in chasing them once the season is here. Can you guys suggest a decent package to set myself up to target these guys (rod Reel). I appreciate any advice.

I enjoy catching more than eating them, though I will keep a few Walleye or Specs from time to time for a fresh snack. Other than that, a photograph as they say is worth a thousand words.

Braved the rain and SNOW (yes Snow) Saturday morning on the Barron/Petawawa Rivers, we ended up with 11 in the boat, generally we were getting them in 28-35 feet. Monday afternoon the young lad and I picked up 6 more in about 20-25 feet on the Ottawa near the Mouth of the Bonnechere River. Jigging w...

Re: Lake Trout

Does anyone know where on Loughborough is the best opportunity for lake trout? I have caught many bass, but have yet to find trout. The west end of the Lake for sure, pretty much anywhere past the narrows (bridge). The East end of the lake is very shallow, the west end is deep and cold. Say hi to D...

Hello, new to the forum and the area. Was wondering if anybody can point me in the direction of a good marine accessory store (Ottawa-Arnprior area), rope, anchors, chains, wet weather gear ect ect. Appreciate the help.
