Making our annual visit to the Calabogie area in mid Sept. We usually fish White, Black Donald, Mississippi and Norcan. Over the years we've hit Clayton-Taylor, Clear and a few others. My buddy wants to try Dalhoussie. Is it worth it? And are there any other area suggestions? We're bass and pike guy...

Mississippi has a great launch. I think it's $10 but it's concrete and has a dock. There are actually two ramps for mutiple launching. Clayton-Taylor also has a concrete launch but the launch angle is tough. A few of my friends with bigger boats (19' range) had trouble.

Check out Nordlaw Lodge on Bob's Lake, Holiday Manor on Loughborough or Stirling Lodge on Newboro Lake. I've to all three at least three times. Holiday Manor is not great as far as accomodations, it like dorm rooms but the lake rocks. Bob's Lake is great for numbers, ok for size. Stirling Lodge is v...
