Thanks again for the welcome. CPrince, is there another boat launch above the dam? I noticed as I was leaving after 2 nights parked there that there was a sign saying no overnight parking. (Though I did notice that we weren't the only ones parked at the launch overnight, Lol.)

Hello all, My first post, though I have been lurking fairly habitually for the last 9 months since I moved out from BC. :oops: Loaded up the boat, wife, kids and dog friday and headed north to Paugan Dam boat launch. Spent a bit of time and picked an island well away from the launch and set up camp....

Char are pretty much the same animal as Lake trout, one has a forked tail and one is square. At least that was how it was out in BC.
