I went for Cabelas brand pants and but I bought none as they did not have my size. I then looked for ...

Re: Parking fees at White Lake boat launch
Where to go to get the truth about the parking pass. It seems to be unclear if parking at a boat launch requires only those using the ramp having to pay or all those parking in the lot, regardless if they are using the ramp or not, have to pay..... If you go online to the township site you will see ...

Carp's Valley Fishing Show 2015
Has anyone heard through the grapevine what fishing shops will be at the Carp show this year. I have missed the last three years. Will be going this year. Hoping to find some "must have" lures not found locally.

Muskie rod recommendation
My brother in law is pestering me to go Muskie fishing with him. I am planning on getting a Calcutta 400 reel but haven’t a clue about the rod. I want a two piece that can throw at least 3oz lures. Went to LeBarons and got zero help. They told me that two piece rods do not exist. I find this puzzlin...

What to do with a wet reel?
Last month I was flipped from my kayak and lost my rod to the bottom of the Mississippi River. I recovered it the following weekend. I had tools with me to immediately strip the reel to pieces to clean and dry it out. The reel was covered in a coat of algae (as was the rod) and partially filled with...
