Re: Best Ottawa River Musky lures/colors

The large williams wobbler spoon, gold colour works wonders when the water clarity improves in Oct/Nov. It is an lure that can get fish to hit if they are under pressure from the larger, more common lures.

I moved to an area with an healthy mushy population and catch ...

Vydon Acres off Galetta Side Road, 20 min West of Kanata on the Ottawa River would be good. Follow the signs to the ferry pick up that shuttles to below the Fitzroy Dam. There is a large bay sheltered from the wind, it holds great Musky/Pike/L/smouth bass and walleye!!! Worth the drive. If u need an...

Musky - Morris Island, Ottawa River

I got a nice musky while jigging for walleye on light line on Saturday night, it was a 50 incher, I was out again last night and saw a large one break the surface. I posted a pic in the Musky gallery. I always seem to catch them when I'm out for bass or walleye.
