Very nice and congrats on a successful hunt!
I've been out for the ducks these last few weeks and and having loads of luck.
Just once though I'd like to see some geese come in low to check out my duck decoys...

Yes, I've hunted for deer in Larose with a bow in the west side only. I think it is a shotgun only area. There is lots of deer there but it is a popular and busy area. There is a 'no motorized vehicles' rule now too. I've read that there is a swamp/pond in there somewhere that is good for waterfowl ...

Over/Under Shotguns?
It seems like people really love over/under shotguns... I'm wondering why? I've never shot one but I have every other type. I'm assuming they shoot quite a bit faster? I rarely fire all 3 shots in my shotgun when hunting grouse (I'm assuming overs are used primarily for grouse type hunts) but I have...

Thanks all, I removed the plug entirely when the problems started so its not that and it has jammed with a cold barrel (2 shots only) so its not a barrel swelling. Plus, it ejects fine, its just the loading of the next shell that jams before it is lifted into the chamber. I've only tried the Winches...

Duck/Goose Hunting - Dunrobin Area
I was at the Marina near Dunrobin recently and saw some birds across the river in a small bay on the Quebec side.
Anybody ever hunt there?
Seems like an okay spot... just need a Quebec small game license I suppose.
Is it worth the trip?
Cheers,
J

Remington 870 SuperMag Shotgun
I have a 1 year old 870 with very few shells through it. I had to send it back once already for repairs when it jammed after only a few shots. ( 2 to be exact, kept jamming after 2 shots) After that 'incident'... it has performed flawlessly. Except when I try to cycle 3 1/2" throu...

Beware The Evil Asian Carp!
Read an interesting article yesterday in the Globe & Mail about the Asian Carp invading and taking no prisoners. The article says ecological disaster is certain in the near future if the mighty Asian Carp makes its way into the Great Lakes. Apparently, the Asian Carp was brought to North America...
