I have a very very old strike master auger with the same blade...

i don't know what the proper name for it is, but if the pointed tip at the end isn't sharp then that will happen regardless if you have new blades. its really easy to sharpen, just use a file or sharpening stone and follow the angle of the point. it only takes 10 minutes or so. I don't mind doing this in public it isn't a secret lake or anything like that.... Its just Mississippi lake and the map is the one that Craig posted in the Ontario fishing map project I just cropped it down to show more specifically where I was looking at... Species wise I'd lean more towards panfish probably.
And both jigging and dead sticking, trying to find a new place for my shack, the usual spot for me has gotten busier than I like this year.

hi, just trying to get a few opinions on where best to set up around a mid lake hump like this one that rises from 12 feet right in the middle of the picture. http://i751.photobucket.com/albums/xx156/cwangell/hump.jpg should i be right on top of it? around the edge of it? close by but still outside ...

i have a very old strike master with a tecumseh engine. went to start it yesterday and the spark plug wire has split right at the coil.

I have seen you out fishing so I will vouch for you...
although the 1 time i did see you out ice fishing this year you were trying to fish silver lake with out any way to cut a hole lol...

i was under the impression that you never wanted to use pressure treated wood with aluminum, some thing about the chemicals used to pressure treat reacting with the aluminum.scarkner wrote: pressure treated plywood which is great for doing boat transoms.
