Pretty well anywhere on the Gatineau River is great for Largies .I would go to Lac Ste. Marie as it links to the Gatineau and has a good launch (not that you need one) and ample parking at the public launch. The river can get a little busy at times but the fishing is usually good.

With the water levels so low on the Ottawa I might be able to find some of my snagged lures near shore . Pretty crazy though I was driving by the Lievre River on the way to Mont Laurier and most of the landed boats on the water were a few hundred away feet from the docks that they're normally tied to.

Ice at Calabogie

Went for a tour this morning to check out some of the small trout lakes near Calabogie. There's still ice up to the shorelines on them but Calabogie Lake is about half opened up from what I could see from the highway. Should be casting for trout soon after this weekends weather HEEHAW!
