Hi Although I have not fished Lake Simard, I have a week trip planned there for late June. I have done some research, and it appears that Pike, SM Bass and Walleye are it's strengths. The Walleye don't get past 5.5 lbs I hear, but some monster pike can be found, and the smallmouth bite quite readily...
