You can get from Westmeath to Waltham if you have a small boat via the channel that is nearest to the Quebec side. A few rock dings are to be expected :-) It is the one with the old wood lighthouse on the island. Right now water levels are very very low. The Westmeath boat launch also sort of sucks....
