Thanks for the report Fisherman 89, no we didn't go cause of the snow storm that weekend. I'm glad you went ,yes i heard there was a lot of current in that area, looks like 1/2 oz buckshot are a must. Now with all that snow looks like i might have to wait next year. Will try to go earlier next seaso...

Hi, I was planning to go and try my luck on the Bay Of Quinte, in a week or 2. Was looking for easy access walking distance, would stay overnight. Looking to rent a room or small cottage. So can you buy live minnows from zone 18 and salt them, put them in the fridge and the following week go fishing in Zone 15.I'm a little confuse with the regulations here. Can anybody clarify that for me.....Thanks...Wally.

A few weeks ago we were catching lots of small saugers but nothing on 2D/DI/SI showing arch or white spots.

Thanks Ed/Jim for the tips. My transducer is mounted between my 2 runners where there is less disturbance. I have a Princecraft 170 S/E . I saw quite a few video's on you tube and there's all kind of difference opinions where to mount your tranducer, Was told if it's not low enough you won't get any...
