Petrie island
I'm just curious about Petrie Ice fishing ice road. What kind of authority do they have? Can they legit charge you to drive on it? I understand it's plowed etc but if I were to plow a stretch of the Ottawa river I couldn't charge people access to it. It's not private property they can't ask me to le...

Re: Fishing during outbreak?
If you have waders and in the water I wonder if that still counts as a park

Fishing during outbreak?
Anyone still fishing? Anyone get stopped by bylaw? While were being told to stay away from the parks etc my understanding is that a river bank is different.

Bowman lake
Just bought a portable ice hut. Cant wait to use it. Never fished the lake before. I'm probably going in two weekends from now and more than likely the straight. Between between Woodstock island and strabey island. So I'm wondering if anyone has ventured out to that lake. What ice levels are etc. An...

Re: Calabogie Car accessible Fish and Pitch a Tent
I'm pretty sure I ran into that same family with the karaoke machine at a different spot. I have mixed feelings about it. On one hand if they did that at a provincial park they'd be asked to go elsewhere so they avoided that and just went elsewhere. On the other hand, provincial parks suck! So there...

Re: The Calabogie fall trout shore-fishing experience
This is why I stopped camping on the car access sites. Wabun lake is horrible. Not sure what lakes you visited but is so disrespectful to see. Luckily if you have a boat or canoe those sites are still well respected.

Re: Dock rentals
The price on white lake is decent but limited as to where you can go. I am interested in black donald/centennial lake but haven't found anything yet

Dock rentals
Looking for something for next summer Hello, I'm wondering where some of you dock your boats for the summer? I live in a condo in barrhaven and cant store my boat on site so I store it in my friends driveway but it's a bit of a nuisance. I know you can rent dock slips at petrie island, port of call,...

Clyde river levels
I fished there 2 years ago in late summer. The water was about 10-15 meters lower than normal. Mud flats everywhere. I think it was due to hydro dam maintenance? Just wondering if the levels are back to normal. Hoping to fish there next Monday.

Motor dies at low idle, no choke and low speed
Hi guys like title says. It runs well at fast speeds, but as soon as I bring it down to low speed, low idle and closed choke it does within 15 seconds. Any suggestions? It's been tuned up recently. Problem persisted before and after. It's a late 80s merc. Thanks for taking the time to read this. Reg...
