Yes, congrats on the nice pike. I have the same lure in the photo but the pikes ignored mine :cry: . As boatless anglers, my son and I tried a few places on the Rideau. At Kars, we tried jerkbaits, spoons, spinners and even deadbait. Nothing. I was surprised when I got to Kars. I was expecting a lot...

I was thinking of trying deadbait under a float for pike. Do any of you F-H's have any experience with this kind of presentation?

Went out last night for a quick visit. Hopefully next time I'll have time to do some fishing. It was nice to meet Peron and Scarkney if I remember correctly. Thanks for the letting me know where to get those bite indicators. I ordered a few on eBay. Hope to meet up again

Thanks for sharing Muskybuster.I caught it while jigging in 14 feet of water in a back eddy along some rapids on a 3/8 ounce black jig head with a yellow eye and a 3 inch pearl white rubber grub.
