I would advise to get the best rod you can afford. If you target primarily pike, then I would recommend a 7'0"MH with a fast or extra fast tip. If Muskie is your main target, then go with a muskie action, probably a 7'0"M. It is tough to narrow down what rod you need without knowing what y...

2003 225hp Optimax. After I put a piston or two out the side of the crankcase this spring, it ran great on the new powerhead. Great on gas (for a 225) using less than my old 150 Merc EFI.
